Proof of residence

Read the following after reading the first two paragraphs of the Post on Proof of identity.

It is compulsory that along with each proposal proof of residence of the proposer is also submitted. The proof shall show that the proposer was living at that address for the past six months or more. Acceptable proofs are Ration Card issued by the government, Telephone bill, Electricity Bill, Election Card or a Certificate issued by a public servant etc.
